Q: Which outlets do we need to check? A: Your legionella risk assessment names them — typically sentinel outlets (nearest and furthest from the water heater) plus any little-used ones, which should also be flushed weekly.
Q: What temperatures are we looking for? A: The conventional guidance is hot water reaching outlets at 50°C+ and cold below 20°C — but follow the figures in your own risk assessment, and get a competent person to confirm your regime.
