Short answer

Switch to the list view of your assets and use the column selector — the icon with two columns on the right-hand side of the list. Click it and you can turn on any columns you want, including Asset Value. Once a column is showing in the list, it's included when you export, so adding Asset Value there is all you need to do to get it into your report.

Detail

The assets list view is configurable: you choose which columns appear, and that choice carries through to the export. The control is the column selector, shown as a two-columns icon on the right-hand side of the list view.

To add asset value to an export:

  1. Open your assets and switch to the list view (rather than grid view).
  2. Click the column selector (the two-columns icon) on the right-hand side.
  3. Switch on Asset Value — and any other columns you'd like in the report.
  4. Run your export. The columns you've turned on are the columns you get.

The same approach works for any other field you want in the output — configure the columns once in the list view, then export.

Watch-outs

  • It's the list view, not the grid view. The column selector lives in the list view. Grid view is image-led and doesn't have the same column controls.
  • What you see is what you export. The export reflects the columns currently switched on, so check the list shows the fields you want before exporting.
  • Asset value has to be filled in to be useful. The column will export whatever value is held against each asset — if you haven't entered values, the column will come through blank.
